For the shorter side sections, I used 7 mm light purple amethyst spheres bracketed by dark purple, 4 mm amethyst spheres.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe three sections stretch out to 3 1\/4 inches in length. I attached 2mm stainless steel cable chain to the outside ends of the connected sections and finished off the chain with a jewelry tab and lobster clasp. The total necklace length is about 17 5\/8 inches.
